FileMap puts every file, folder, app, and video on one infinite, zoomable desktop. I co-founded it; that spatial interface is my US patent. Instead of hunting through nested folders, you take in your whole machine at a glance. I served as chief product officer and led the engineering team, and FileMap itself was a resident at the Autodesk Technology Center in San Francisco. We alpha-tested it in the design departments of METU, Maryland, Bilkent, and TOBB, ran workshops, and presented it at schools and companies across the US and Europe. This is the project I have poured the most into. My co-founder and CEO, Gracious, worked on Apple Vision Pro's supply chain at Apple; seeing what visual UI could do for education, he left Apple to lead FileMap, and we test FileMap in Apple Vision Pro for learning. The next step is to bring personal conversational AI agents (MONK) into FileMap work, and we are building a new tool for that, called Asvalin.
